Passive Skimmer
The Passive Skimmer incorporates Smart Sponge® which is a patented hydrocarbon absorption product. Smart Sponge is designed to convert absorbed hydrocarbon into a non-leaching inert stable solid.
Smart Sponge Passive Skimmers are unique in their ability to lay flat behind barrier booms to remove, and permanently bind oils and oily sheen that can wash over the top of booms.
