Hynds Stonetrap

The Hynds Stonetrap system has been designed to allow adequate time for stones, gravel and other miscellaneous items to be captured and settled, thereby reducing the possibility of wear and tear on effluent pumps.

Incoming effluent wash flow from the dairy shed enters at a 45-degree angle, thereby slowing down the velocity of the incoming effluent from the dairy shed which in turn increases the effectiveness of the settling period.
