As a major supplier of wastewater and stormwater infrastructure components in New Zealand, we understand the importance of responsible water management.

At our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Pōkeno, we have invested in a sustainable water management plan. This includes:

• Processing our concrete waste to separate, wash and reuse solid material
• pH balancing the separated water
• Developing a stormwater pond with significant planting to naturally filter any residual contaminants with no chemicals, supported by ongoing monitoring both internally and externally

Hynds plans to be here for the next 100 years, something we can’t achieve unless we take steps to support our environment and communities.
