Prior to the 2011 Rugby World Cup, North Shore City Council decided to develop a new six-and-a-half-hectare park in Albany as a place for fans to gather to watch the games via big screens.
Albany Lakes features 1000m of paths around 2 lakes and 35,000m2 of hard landscaping. One of the main objectives for this development was to incorporate innovative eco-friendly stormwater treatment systems.
The Hauraton Recyfix channel was the perfect fit for this job, being manufactured from 100% recycled PP. Not only is this channel environmentally friendly, but it is also extremely resilient. 800 meters of Hauraton Recyfix Channel were installed as part of the development in 2011.
Revisited 11 years later, and the Hauraton Recyfix Channel has stood the test of time, proving just how durable and reliable this product is.
