Late March, the Howick Sea Scouts advised us they were experiencing serious surface drainage issues with water seeping into the Scout Hall.
With no funding to fix the problem, Hynds offered to support this local organisation to ensure the health and wellbeing of the children and preventing damage to the building.
…But then Covid 19 hit the country and along with Lockdown, winter weather also kicked in exacerbating the problem.
So, last week Hynds Manukau Branch were quick to deliver drainage supplies on to site with volunteer parents completing the work in the weekend. Enjoy this timelapse record of their efforts.
